Removal
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Remove the cover under the instrument panel on the driver's side.
3. Remove the steering wheel as described in Chapter 10.
4. Remove the three screws securing the switch combination to the steering column (see fig. 5.4).

5. Disconnect the multi-pin connector of the switch cluster from the mounting block underneath the instrument panel. To do this, use a bent wire to pry the base of the connector out of the socket.
6. Remove the switch cluster and steering column cover, then remove the switches and harness from the cover.
Installation
7. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
