The design of the drive shaft hinges and the installation details of their protective covers
37a - Drive shaft; 37b - Outer hinge; 37c - Internal hinge; 37d - Hinge hub; 37e - Ball; 37f - Separator; 37g - Retaining ring; 37h - Cover; 37i - Oil seal; 37k - Collar; 37l, 37m - Protective covers
1. Remove the drive shaft.
2. Remove clamps (37k).
3. Remove the cover (37h) and gland (37i) on a hinged ring (37s).
4. Remove retaining ring (37g).
5. Remove the protective cover (37l) with stuffing box (37i).
6. Remove inner hinge (37s) - (37f) from the drive shaft.
7. Remove protective cover (37m).
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. To stuff the inner hinge, about 120-150 g of lubricant will be required, and the outer one - 120 g.
