Design of drive shaft joints and installation details of their protective covers
37a - Drive shaft; 37b - Outer hinge; 37c - Inner hinge; 37d - Joint hub; 37th - Ball; 37f - Separator; 37g - Retaining ring; 37h - Lid; 37i - Oil seal; 37k - Clamp; 37l, 37m - Protective covers


1. Remove the drive shaft.

2. Remove the clamps (37k).

3. Remove the cover (37h) and seal (37i) on the hinge ring (37c).

4. Remove the retaining ring (37g).

5. Remove the protective cover (37l) with the seal (37i).

6. Remove the inner joint (37c)-(37f) from the drive shaft.

7. Remove the protective cover (37m).

Installation



Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. About 120-150 g of grease will be required to fill the inner hinge, and 120 g for the outer hinge.
