Adjusting the full throttle limiter (Mercedes-Benz S-Class W126)

Press the gas pedal all the way down (full throttle position) and fix it in this position with a suitable board inserted between the pedal and the seat (for cars with manual transmission).

For cars with automatic transmission, an assistant is required. Press the gas pedal sharply to engage a lower gear "Kikc-down" and hold the pedal in this position.

In this position, the throttle lever should be in the full throttle position. Otherwise, loosen the bolt (arrow), release the gas pedal a little and tighten the bolt. Then check again. Adjust if necessary.

Disconnect the rod (5) and adjust the distance between the intermediate ring and the center of the connecting socket to a distance of 200 mm.
