If a hot engine is difficult to start, it is necessary to check the injection system seals.

If a hot engine is difficult to start, it is necessary to check the injection system seals.

With the air filter removed, check the fuel connections in the regulator; they should be dry.

Disconnect the fuel pump relay and connect terminals 7 and 8 with a piece of wire to create pressure in the fuel system.

Check the seals of the distributor plunger (2) by pushing the flap (4) of the air flow meter down to the stop and holding it in this position. Fuel may appear in the air duct, but only a small amount. Otherwise, it is necessary to replace the washer of the distributor plunger. After checking the tightness of the system, reinstall all removed elements.
