Remove the air filter.
Lift the plastic housing off the starter solenoid valve and disconnect the electrical wires (see arrow). Loosen the intake manifold bracket fastening at the top and bottom.
Place the car on chocks.
Loosen the starter fixing bolts from below.
Disconnect the starter from the gearbox and remove it.
When installing, insert the starter from above, secure it to the gearbox and tighten it with bolts from below.
