The steering system consists of a steering wheel, a steering shaft, a steering mechanism and steering rods. The steering wheel is mounted on a steering shaft, which consists of two parts and leads to the steering mechanism. Here, by means of a gear, the rotation of the steering wheel is transmitted to the rack.
Both ends of the rack are connected through ball joints with steering rods. They transmit the turning force through the tie rod joints and steering knuckles to the front wheels.
An electrically adjustable steering wheel in length and height is available as an option.
