Removal
1. Remove the starter, refer to the relevant section.
2. Clamp the starter in a clamp. Wrap the clamping jaws with a rag for protection.
3. Loosen the nut and disconnect the cable from the terminal (1) on the traction relay.
4. Unscrew the nuts (1) and remove the traction relay from the starter unit.
Installation
1. Lubricate the mating surface of the starter block with sealant.
2. Connect the traction relay to the starter unit and secure it.
3. Secure the cable to the traction relay terminal.
4. Check the starter before installation in the disconnected state.
5. Install the starter, refer to the relevant section.
