- Joint between cylinder block and gearbox (crankshaft rear oil seal and gearbox shaft oil seal).
- Oil level control screw.
- Drain plug.
- Cardan shaft in conjunction with the gearbox.
The search for leaks is as follows:
1. Diesel engine: Remove the engine bottom cover.
2. Clean the gearbox housing with a cold cleaner.
3. Sprinkle potential leaks with lime or talcum powder.
4. Drive a car. To make the oil liquid, drive on the highway for a distance of approximately 30 km.
Attention! The operation of lifting and placing the vehicle on stands is dangerous! Therefore, before carrying out the operation, read Section Jacking and towing.
5. Raise and place the vehicle on stands. Illuminate the gearbox with a lamp and check for leaks.
6. Repair leaks immediately.
7. Diesel engine: Install the engine bottom cover.
