The remote control device can unlock the car from a long distance, even out of sight.

To prevent unauthorized persons from entering the vehicle, use the remote control device only from a close distance.

The vehicle comes with two main keys with a remote control. The release buttons (2) are coloured differently for better identification.



Note: Do not expose keys to increased electromagnetic radiation. Malfunctions may occur!


Unlocking car locks



Switching between the "Driver's door unlock" and "Full unlock" settings can be performed.

"Full unlocking" installation



Press the button once, all doors, fuel filler flap and trunk lid are unlocked.

Setting "Unlocking the driver's door"



Button press once, the driver's door and fuel filler flap will unlock.

Button press twice to unlock all doors, fuel filler flap and trunk lid.

Unlocking the vehicle and disabling the anti-theft alarm system (EDW) is confirmed by a single flash of the direction indicator lights.

If after unlocking the vehicle neither the doors nor the trunk lid are opened, the vehicle will automatically lock after approximately 40 seconds.



Locking the car locks



Button press once, all doors, fuel filler flap and trunk lid are locked.

When the doors and tailgate are closed, activation of the vehicle authorisation check system or the operational readiness of the anti-theft warning system (EDW) after locking is confirmed by three flashes of the direction indicator lights.

Battery charge control



Each time the key is used, the battery charge indicator light will briefly light up.

If the control LED does not light, the batteries must be replaced immediately.

Setting up vehicle unlocking functions



Press the buttons simultaneously and and hold them down for about 6 seconds.

The control LED (4) lights up twice.

Switching between the settings "Unlocking the driver's door" and "Full unlocking" is performed.

Remove the emergency key.

Press the key into the hole (1), then lift the battery compartment slightly in the direction of the arrow (2) and remove it in the direction of the arrow (3).

Automatic door locking while driving



At speeds above 15 km/h, the vehicle's main lock is locked.

When one of the front doors is opened from the inside, all vehicle locks are unlocked, provided that the last unlocking of a single vehicle lock was performed by a remote control device.

The automatic door locking function can be switched on and off in the "VEHICLE" menu (AUTOMOBILE) "Individual installation" systems, in the installation menu "AUTOMATIC DOOR LOCK" (AUTOMATIC DOOR LOCKING). Automatic door unlocking in case of an accident

The vehicle can be unlocked or locked from the inside using the single lock switch. Locking can only be done when the front doors are closed.

If locking was done with a key, then unlocking with a switch is not possible.

Opening or closing the side windows and panoramic sliding roof panel

Comfort closing: closes the panoramic sliding roof panel and raises the side windows.



For safety reasons, the summer opening/comfort closing function can only be activated from a short distance via the infrared function of the remote control. Therefore, point the tip of the key at the driver's door handle.

Summer opening function:

Unlock the vehicle and hold the button down until the side windows and panoramic sliding roof panel reach the desired position.

Interrupting the opening process: Button let go.

Comfortable closing: Lock the car, button keep pressing until all windows and the panoramic sliding roof panel are fully closed.

The door can be opened from the inside even when the car is locked. When opening the driver's or front passenger's door, both doors are unlocked.

The emergency key (2) can be used to unlock and lock the driver's door (emergency door opening) and the driver's door is locked separately (emergency door opening) and the trunk lid is locked or released separately.

Removing the emergency key from the main key: Move the release button (1) in the direction of the arrow and pull out the emergency key (2).

Sliding the emergency key onto the main key: Slide the emergency key (2) until it locks into place.

Emergency unlocking of the driver's door



If the vehicle does not unlock with the remote key control, unlock the driver's door with the emergency key.

Notes for models equipped with anti-theft alarm:

The anti-theft alarm is triggered when the door is opened with the emergency key. The alarm can only be turned off by inserting the key into the ignition switch or pressing the buttons or on the main key.
