Removal
Rear door lock
1 – rod for operating the door from the inside; 2 – locking mechanism; 3 - door lock; 4, 5 – clamps; 6 – vacuum line for ABS; 7, 8 – bolts
1. Disconnect the central locking line from the door lock.
2. Unscrew the bolt (7) of the lock shell (9). The shell can only be removed together with the door lock.
3. Remove the door lock through the hole in the door sheet metal.
Installation
1. Install a door lock with a locking mechanism.
2. Secure the lock with three mounting bolts to a torque of 8 Nm.
Caution: Tighten both bolts on the front side of the door first.
3. For the front door: Check the clearance between the handle and the door lock control lever. Install the door handle.
4. Glue the covering film evenly, without folds.
5. Hang the pull rod to operate the door from the inside and secure with clamps.
6. Install the interior door trim.
