Starter — repair (Mercedes-Benz C-Class W201)
If you suspect a faulty starter, you should remove it from the car and give it to an auto electrician for inspection. The only thing you can do with a faulty starter for a reasonable price is to replace the brushes. If you are offered a more serious repair, find out the price: it is possible that buying a new or restored starter will cost you less.
