Removing
1. Remove the door trim as described in paragraph 18.
2. Lower the glass so that through a small hole in the front of the door you can get to the nut that secures the power window lever to the glass cage (see fig. 19.2).

3. Hold the glass in this position by placing a wooden wedge between the glass and the door, or by using adhesive tape wrapped around the top of the door frame (see fig. 19.3).

4. At the fixed glass, turn away a nut of fastening of the window regulator lever to a holder of glass.
5. On vehicles with power windows, disconnect the wires from the cable connector terminals.
6. Remove the two nuts securing the guide channel to the door panel (see fig. 19.6) and remove the chute from the panel.

7. Remove four bolts (see fig. 19.7) on vehicles with manual windows, or three bolts on vehicles with power windows that secure the window mechanism to the door.

8. On vehicles with a power window, temporarily install the drive handle and lower the window until the two latches (see fig. 19.8) got out of their seats. Remove the handle.

9. Disconnect the rear window regulator arm from the glass holder and pull out the window regulator mechanism through the bottom hole in the door (see fig. 19.9. a, b).

Installation
10. Installation is carried out in the reverse order, taking into account the following remarks. Before installing the casing, hand tighten the nut securing the power window lever to the cage and the nuts of the guide chute. Then adjust the glass position as follows.
11. Lower the glass down to the stop.
12. Push the glass down and forward at the front into the front guide chute and back at the top into the rear guide chute.
13. Holding glass in such position, tighten a nut of fastening of the window regulator lever to a holder of glass.
14. Push the rear guide chute nut down and tighten, then tighten the front guide chute nut.
15. Check the operation of the power window mechanism, then install the casing as described in paragraph 18.
