Removal



1. Unscrew the connecting rod caps and remove the pistons together with the connecting rods.

2. Check the connecting rod cap mounting bolts.

3. Using a screwdriver, remove the retaining ring and press out the piston pin.

Installation



1. If the piston is damaged, check the clearance and axial runout of the piston rings.

2. Lubricate the piston pin and connecting rod bushings with oil.

3. Install the piston so that the arrow points in the direction of travel and the locking grooves (arrows) of the connecting rod are facing outward.
