Removal



When the engine is warm, reduce excess pressure in the cooling system.

Loosen the coolant hose on the starter cover, loosen the clamp and slide it back, then remove the hose. If there is no suitable clamp, attach the hose with a wire upward so that the coolant does not leak.

Remove the plug (89), unscrew the screws (24) and take out the starter cover with the gasket.

Remove the vacuum hose from the Pull-down cover. Disconnect the connecting rod (26) from the trigger lever (85).

Remove the 3 fastening screws (17) and take out the housing (16) for the automatic starting device.

Installation



Place the housing with a new gasket on the carburetor and tighten the mounting screws.



Attach the connecting rod to the trigger lever.

Install the starter cover with a new gasket, and attach the bimetallic spring to the drive lever so that the spring hook is located to the left of the lever. Tighten the starter cover clamping screws,

Install the starter cover according to the marking.

Tighten the clamping screws.

Connect the electrical wire.

Install the coolant hoses and tighten with clamps.

Place the vacuum hose onto the Pull-down cap.
