Removing
With a warm engine, reduce excess pressure in the cooling system.
Open the coolant hose on the cover of the starter, loosen the clamp and slide it back, then remove the hose. If there is no suitable clamp, attach the hose with the wire up so that coolant does not leak out.
Remove the plug (89), unscrew the screws (24) and remove the starter cover with gasket.
Remove the vacuum hose from the pull-down cover. Unhook connecting rod (26) from the trigger lever (85).
Remove 3 fixing screws (17) and take out the body (16) for an automatic starter.
Installation
Put the body with a new gasket on the carburetor and tighten the fastening screws.
Attach the connecting rod to the trigger lever.
Install the starter cover with a new gasket, and attach the bimetallic spring to the driving lever so that the spring hook is located to the left of the lever. Tighten the clamping screws of the starter cover,
Install the cover of the starting device in accordance with the marking.
Tighten the clamping screws.
Connect electrical wire.
Fit coolant hoses and tighten with clamps.
Attach the vacuum hose to the pull-down cover.
