Check if there is fuel in the tank.
Remove the fuel hose between the fuel pump and the carburetor from the carburetor and direct it into a suitable container. Turn on the starter briefly, while the fuel should flow out of the hose in portions.
Warning: Flammable, avoid open flames!
If fuel does not flow, remove the hose going to the fuel pump. If fuel flows out, check the fuel pump for leaks or the mesh for contamination. To do this, unscrew the screw securing the fuel pump cover, remove the cover and wash the mesh in fuel.
Note: When using a new pump, you can leave the cover on and clean the mesh.
If fuel does not flow out, remove the fuel line from the tank and blow it out.
