Clamp the inlet and outlet hoses (1) and (2). If there are no suitable clamps, then after removing the hoses, insert a bolt of suitable diameter into the hoses to prevent fuel from leaking out.

Remove the fuel hoses from the pump, after loosening the clamps.

Release the cable holder (4) from the insulating flange of the pump and put the cable to one side.

In accordance with the fuel pump design, unscrew 2 nuts or 2 bolts (see arrows) and remove the pump together with the insulating flange.

Installation



Rubber gasket or sealing ring (see arrow) check the insulating flange for damage. Replace the insulating flange if necessary. Sealing rings are not sold separately.

Insert the plunger into the insulating flange so that the safety ring is positioned towards the fuel pump. Check the plunger for ease of movement.

Install the fuel pump with the insulating flange and tighten the nuts (bolts).



Note: If the pump is secured with bolts, lubricate their threads with sealant before installation.


Secure the cable holders.

Put on the fuel hoses and secure them with clamps. Hose (1) goes from the tank, hose (2) goes to the carburetor.
