Removing
Caution: Avoid open flames, flammable!
Inlet and outlet hoses (1) And (2) clamp with clamps. If there are no suitable clamps, then after removing the hoses, insert a bolt of a suitable diameter into the hoses so that no fuel flows out.
Remove the fuel hoses from the pump, after loosening the clamps.
cable holder (4) remove from the insulating flange of the pump and put the cable aside.
Loosen 2 nuts or 2 bolts according to fuel pump version (see arrows) and remove the pump together with the insulating flange.
Installation
Rubber gasket or o-ring (see arrow) on the insulating flange, check for damage. If necessary, replace the insulating flange. O-rings are not sold separately.
Insert the tappet into the insulating flange in such a way that the safety ring is located towards the fuel pump. Check pusher for ease of movement.
Install fuel pump with insulating flange and tighten nuts (bolts).
Attention: If the pump is reinforced with bolts, grease their threads with sealant before installation.
Attach the cable holders.
Put on the fuel hoses and secure them with clamps. Hose (1) coming from tank, hose (2) goes to the carburetor.
