The factory data table is located on the right side of the upper part of the radiator frame and contains information about the type of vehicle, body number, permissible total load, permissible loads on the front and rear wheels, paintwork number. The chassis number is also stamped on the mudguard lip. The first six characters of the number refer to the designation of the type of vehicle, the seventh character is the location of the steering wheel, the eighth is data on the type of gearbox. The next six characters are the serial number. The numbers in seventh place mean: 1 - left-hand drive, 2 - right-hand drive. Eighth character: 0 - manual transmission, 2 - automatic transmission.
The engine number is stamped on six-cylinder engines at the front left and on eight-cylinder engines at the rear left below the plane of the cylinder head connector - cylinder block. When ordering spare parts, it is extremely important to indicate the body and engine numbers in full.
On the gearbox, final drive, steering gear, the serial numbers are stamped on the crankcases.
