Replacing the cabin air filter (Mercedes-Benz E-Class W210)

Since the filter is structurally not subject to cleaning, it must be replaced regularly every 30,000 km. When operating the car in areas with increased dustiness, it is recommended to change the filter more often.

1. Remove the upper trim under the instrument panel (Fig. 10.2).

2. Slide the two white plastic clips at the top.

3. Remove the filter cover.

4. Remove filter 3 (Fig. 10.3) from the niche. Remember its location.

5. Clean the heater body from dirt.

6. Insert the new filter, ensuring it is installed correctly, and close the cover.
