Engine 112



Removal



1. Remove the upper engine trim at both air cleaner boxes and at the bracket.

2. Remove the left and right corrugated hoses.

3. Remove the lower part of the filter from the cylinder head covers.

4. Release the intake pipe at the throttle actuator.

5. Remove the lower part of the air filter with the intake pipe from the engine.

Installation



1. Install the lower part of the air filter with the suction pipe.

2. Install the suction pipe to the throttle actuator and secure it.

Caution! Pre-lubricate the actuator seal with a thin layer of grease.


3. Apply a thin layer of grease to the rubber elements on the cylinder head covers. Press the lower part of the air filter into the supports.

4. Install the hoses.

5. Install the upper engine cover and both upper air cleaner sections.



Diesel engines



Removal



1. Remove the top engine cover, refer to Section Removal and installation the top engine cover.

2. Disconnect the air mass meter connector.

3. Disconnect the air intake hose from the air filter.

4. Disconnect the connecting hose at the pulsation damper.

5. Remove the upper part of the air filter.

6. Remove the filter element.

7. Remove the lower part of the air filter, paying attention to the position of the washers on the engine side.

Installation



Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
