Note. The daylight sensor is mounted on the windshield at the height of the rear-view mirror.
Removing
1. Disconnect the negative cable (-) battery with the ignition off. The cabin air filter box must first be removed.
Attention! Before disconnecting the cable, find out the security code of the radio, if any, refer to Section Replacing the battery.
2. Remove the cover (1).
3. Disconnect the connector (2).
4. Open the clips with a screwdriver (arrows in the illustration) and remove the daylight sensor (3).
Note. The sensor lens is glued to the windshield. The lens should only be replaced by a workshop.
Installation
1. Insert and lock the sensor.
2. Connect the sensor connector.
3. Install and secure the cover by pressing it down.
4. Connect ground cable (-) battery with the ignition off. Install the cabin air filter box. If necessary, enter the radio code and set the time on the clock.
