The oil level sensor is installed at the top of the oil pan.

Removal



1. Lower the engine on the front axle beam, see the relevant chapter.

2. Disconnect the plug of the oil level sensor 3 (see illustration 1.0a).

3. Unscrew the mounting bolts and carefully remove the oil level sensor from the pan.

Installation



4. Install the oil level sensor, replacing its sealing ring with a new one, and secure the sensor with bolts with a tightening torque of 8 Nm.

5. Connect the sensor plug.

6. Raise the engine on the front axle beam and secure it.
