Removal



1. Remove the engine protection (mudguard), see the relevant chapter.

2. Turn tension roller 5 clockwise using HAZET 2714-1 crowbar and thus loosen the V-belt tension (see illustration).

3. Remove the V-belt 4 (see illustration 6.2).

Examination



4. Inspect the belt pulley and belt tensioner for damage or contamination.

5. Check the condition of the V-belt. If the belt has deposits between the ribs, peeling of the rib rubber, fringing, transverse cracks on the surface or rib fractures, then such a belt is subject to replacement, see the relevant chapter.



Installation



6. Lay the V-belt according to the diagram (see illustration 6.0).

7. Move the belt tension roller clockwise and place the belt on the tension roller.

8. Install the engine protection, see the relevant chapter.
