CAUSE | SOLUTION | |
Poor starting of the engine or it does not start at all
Control errors at startup | Starting a cold engine | Switch on the ignition until the control lamp goes out. Immediately after the warning lamp goes out, start the engine. |
Starting the engine warmed up to operating temperature | Pre-heating is not required, the engine starts immediately.
Preheater does not work | The preheat indicator lamp does not light up | Check the test lamp, glow plugs and preheat relay. |
The pre-incandescent lamp is on | Switch off the ignition. Disconnect the 2 glow plug wires for cylinders 2-4, turn on the ignition; if the control lamp is on, check the preheat relay and replace if necessary.
Faulty fuel system | No fuel coming in | Fuel lines (suction, recirculation, injection hoses) kinked, clogged, leaky. Fuel filter clogged. |
The moment of the start of fuel access has been shifted | Check the moment of the beginning of the flow of fuel, adjust it.
Faulty injector | Check injectors
Faulty fuel pump | All cylinders fire at the same time | Replace fuel pump. |
Starter turns too slowly | Charge the battery. Check the starter circuit.
Too low compression | Repair the engine.
Faulty cylinder head gasket | Replace gasket. |
