Since the ignition timing is constantly monitored and adjusted by the engine management system, there is no nominal value. Manual checking and adjustment is not possible.
The angle can be checked using special equipment connected to the engine management system diagnostic connector (refer to Section Self-diagnosis of electronic control systems of the second generation OBD II). Adjustment is not possible. If the angle is set incorrectly, the engine management system is faulty.
