Removal
1. Remove the steering wheel.
2. Remove the lower instrument panel cover.
3. Disconnect the wiring connector from the airbag signal or contact spring A45x1.
4. Disconnect the wiring connector of the contact spring relay A45x2.
5. Unscrew the mounting bolts 32h of the A45 contact coil.
6. Carefully remove the A45 spool from the pipe.
7. Make sure that the 70h retaining ring is installed correctly.
Examination
1. Check the distance "b" between the retaining ring 70h and the bracket 85.
2. Check the A45 contact coil for damage.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
