Removal



Removal


1. Unscrew the 36a instrument panel shield using the 020 key (models without immobilizer).

2. Remove the L11 coil from the locking cylinder (models with immobilizer).

3. Place sleeve 011 on cover 36b and turn the locking cylinder to position "1" using the key.

4. Disconnect the locking cylinder by turning cover 36b counterclockwise by 90°.

Installation



1. Lubricate the outside of the locking cylinder 36 with sealant and insert the cover 36b.

2. Insert the key through cover 36b into locking cylinder 36 until it stops. The groove (arrow) on locking cylinder 36 must align with the groove on the steering shaft lock (arrow).

3. Install locking cylinder 36 into the steering shaft lock.

4. Turn cover 36b with sleeve 011 clockwise by 90° so that it can be locked.

5. Turn the key to position "0" and remove sleeve 011.

6. Screw the 36a shield onto the instrument panel using the 020 key (models without immobilizer).

7. Press the L11 coil onto the locking cylinder.
