Elements of a fire extinguishing system
1 - Tank with extinguisher
2 - Tube system
The fire extinguishing system is activated automatically after its temperature sensor is triggered. The extinguisher from the two tanks passes through the tube system and exits through the holes in it (2 full flow nozzles in the engine compartment and 78 holes under the car).
Fire-resistant cables (up to 1100°C) are connected to the temperature sensors.
The fire extinguishing system remains operational even when parked; in addition, it can be turned on manually. The extinguisher used is non-toxic, and its aerosol does not cause corrosion, leaving only a residue that can be easily removed with compressed air or engine cleaner.
