Replacing ball bearings of gearbox with No.6141001
1a - Drive shaft ball bearing; 1b, 43 and 127 - Retaining rings; 2 - Drive shaft; 20 - Driven shaft; 40 - Intermediate shaft; 43a - Rear driven shaft ball bearing; 43c - Intermediate shaft rear ball bearing; 43d - Outer bearing race; 49 - Intermediate plate; 128 - Front intermediate shaft ball bearing


1. Remove the ball bearing (1a) from the drive shaft. 2. Remove the retaining ring (43b), press out the ball bearing (43a).

3. Remove the roller bearing (43c) and the outer bearing race (43d).



4. Remove the retaining ring (127) and ball bearing (128) of the intermediate shaft.

5. Measure the distance between the 3/4th gear synchronizer and the contact surface of the intermediate case (see section Removal and installation drive and driven gears).

Assembly



Assembly is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
