Replacing tapered roller bearings of gearbox up to No.6141000: (1), (3), (36), (39), (41)

Replacing tapered roller bearings of gearbox up to No.6141000: (1), (3), (36), (39), (41)

Tapered roller bearings: 2 - Drive shaft; 20 - Driven shaft; 40 - Intermediate shaft; 43, 45, 95, 97 - Outer bearing races; 49 - Intermediate plate


1. Press the tapered roller bearing (1) off the drive shaft (2).

2. Press the rear tapered roller bearing (36) off the driven shaft (20).

3. Press the front tapered roller bearing (39) off the intermediate shaft (40).

4. Press the rear tapered roller bearing (41) off the intermediate shaft (40).

5. Press out the outer races (43), (45), (95) and (97) using a punch.

Assembly



Assembly is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
