Removing
Timing chain cover installation details
1. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
2. Remove the compressed air supply pipe (3).
3. Remove the fan clutch.
4. Remove the alternator drive belt.
5. Remove the radiator (14).
6. Remove the coolant pump pulleys (5) and power steering pump (6).
7. Remove the cylinder head cover.
8. Remove the vacuum pump (9).
9. Set the piston of the first cylinder to the TDC position.
10. Install the retainer (03) on the flywheel.
11. Remove the oil cooler (17) from the pallet.
12. Remove the vibration damper (77).
13. Remove the generator.
14. Remove the alternator bracket (2).
15. Turn away bolts of fastening of the pallet (8).
16. Remove the nozzles (1) And (4) on the front of the cylinder head.
17. Remove the power steering pump (30).
18. Remove guide arm pins (32) from the cylinder head.
19. Remove tensioner (33) generator drive belts.
20. Turn away bolts of fastening of TNVD (5) to the timing chain cover.
Timing chain cover installation details
A - Bolt with gasket M6x60
B - Bolt with gasket M6x70
C - Bolt with gasket M6x40
1. Unscrew the TDC sensor mounting bracket (36).
2. Remove the bolts securing the timing chain cover (40) and take it off.
3. Wipe the sealing surfaces of the timing chain cover and cylinder block.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
