Checking the control position of the camshafts
1. Set the piston of the first cylinder to the TDC position.
2. Lock the intake camshaft with the rod (1). To do this, insert the pin (1) through hole A in the first bearing cap into the hole in the camshaft sprocket (2).
3. Check the reference position of the camshafts. The two 1.5 mm holes (B) in the sprockets (2) and (5) must be located opposite each other.
