First separate the front and then the rear propeller shaft.
Remove the safety ring from the groove.

Remove the front protective cover.
Pull the V-bearing and radial ball bearing off the pivot yoke and press the ball bearing out of the V-bearing.
Check parts for wear and replace if necessary.
Installation occurs in reverse order.
Maintenance of the cardan shaft
Every 20,000 km of mileage, it is necessary to drive the car onto a ramp or into an inspection pit and, using a carrier, check the integrity of the elastic coupling, suspension (intermediate) bearing and centering bushings.
If cracks are found in the rubber bands or the centering bushings are displaced, the corresponding unit must be replaced.
