Removal and installation the windshield washer nozzle (Mercedes-Benz C-Class W203)

Removal



1. Open the hood.

2. Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable with the ignition off. The cabin air filter box must be removed first.

Warning! Before disconnecting the cable, find out the radio receiver security code, if any, refer to Section Replacing the battery.


3. Remove the front spoiler grille from the hood, refer to Section Removal and installation the spoiler grille.

4. Disconnect the connector (1) at the jet heater (2).


4. Disconnect the connector (1) at the jet heater (2).

5. Remove the water hose connection element (3) from the nozzle (4).

6. Disconnect and remove the jet from the holder using a screwdriver.

Installation



1. Insert the nozzle into the spoiler grille and secure it.

2. Place the connecting element on the jet.

3. Connect the heating connector of the jet.

4. Install the spoiler grille, refer to Section Removal and installation the spoiler grille.

5. Connect the battery ground (-) cable with the ignition off. Reinstall the cabin air filter box. If necessary, enter the radio code and set the clock.

6. Close the hood.

7. Check the functionality of the jet and adjust it, refer to the relevant section.
