Removal

1. Wet the rear window with water.

2. Start the windshield wiper briefly and stop it with the switch. This will bring the wiper to its extreme position.

3. Mark the position of the wiper blade with the levers correctly adjusted on the glass, for example with adhesive tape.

4. Open the cap (1) and unscrew the nut (2).

4. Open the cap (1) and unscrew the nut (2).

5. Fold back the lever (3) and remove it.

Caution! Be careful not to damage the jet inserted into the wiper shaft.

Installation

1. Make sure the windshield wiper motor is in the extreme position. If necessary, start the motor briefly and stop it with the switch.

2. Install the wiper arm onto the axle and align it with the mark made with adhesive tape during removal.

3. Screw on the nut (2).

4. Check the extreme position of the levers again. To do this, close the hood, wet the glass with water and run the windshield wiper for a short time. The levers should return to the set position and should not go beyond the glass when cleaning the glass.

5. If necessary, loosen the nuts again and repeat the adjustment.

6. Tighten the nut (2) to a torque of 12 Nm and put on the cap.
