Removing
1. Remove the right hand guard behind the cab front wall.
2. Dismantle the magazine with wires on the front wall of the cab. To do this, pull out the expansion pin.
3. Separate the plug connection from the oxygen sensor (arrow).
4. Pull the electrical line with rubber grommet through the cab front wall and disconnect it from the spring clip on the cylinder head cover.
5. Unscrew the oxygen sensor (G3/2) from the exhaust manifold.
6. On the 6-cylinder engine, the oxygen sensor is installed in the front exhaust pipe before the catalytic converter.
Installation
1. Lubricate the threads of the oxygen sensor with high temperature lubricant paste, such as Liqui Moly LM-508-ASC, and screw in the sensor with a torque of 55 Nm.
2. Pull the electrical line through the front wall of the cab. Connect the plug.
3. Clip the line into the spring clip on the cylinder head cover.
4. Install the magazine with wires on the front wall of the cab and fix it with a spacer pin.
5. Establish behind a forward wall of a cabin the right protective casing.
