Valve injectors — removal and installation (Mercedes-Benz C-Class W202)

Removal

1. Remove the fuel distributor together with the injector valves.

2. Remove the rotation stops (16/7) on the valve injectors.

3. Pull the injector valves out of the fuel distributor.

Installation

1. Insert the valve injectors into the fuel distributor, having previously lightly lubricated the O-rings (16/8) and (16/9).

2. Place the rotation stops on the injector valves so that they engage in the square projection (arrow) on the injector valve (Y62).

3. Install the fuel distributor together with the built-in valve injectors.
