Expansion valve installation details
1 - Expansion tank mounting nuts; 2 - Expansion tank; 3 - Self-locking nut; 4 - Support bracket for refrigeration lines; 5 - Fastening clamps for refrigeration lines; 6 - Expansion valve; 7 - Bolts; 8 - Sealing elements; 9 - Bracket for mounting the expansion valve to the evaporator K/V


Attention! All sealing elements must be replaced.


1. The details of the expansion valve installation are shown in the illustration to which all references in the text refer.

2. In a car service workshop, discharge the cooling system.

3. Loosen the fastening nuts (1) and move the cooling system expansion tank (2) to the side.

4. Disconnect the refrigeration line support bracket (4) from the expansion valve (6).

5. Release the refrigeration lines from the intermediate fasteners (6) on the rear bulkhead of the engine compartment.

6. Move the tubes away from the expansion valve (6) and remove the latter.

7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order - the air conditioning system must be filled in a car service workshop.
