Air flow meter — removal and installation (Mercedes-Benz C-Class W202)

Removal

1. Remove the plug connector (arrow) from the air flow meter (B2/5), after loosening the union nut on the connector.

2. Loosen the mounting clamp (4/7).

3. Loosen the clamp (4/13) and remove the air flow meter.

4. Check the O-ring (4/1) for damage and porosity and replace it if necessary.

Installation

1. Install the air flow meter with the O-ring seal.

2. Tighten the hose clamp firmly and clamp the mounting clamp.

3. Place the plug connector on, tighten the union nut until it clicks into place.
