C-class engines are equipped with an electronic ignition and fuel injection system. The ignition and injection systems are regulated by one common control device. This section describes the injection system in more detail.
All injection system components are stable over a long period of operation and do not require complex maintenance, so repair work is carried out extremely rarely. Significant adjustment and repair work can only be carried out using expensive control devices and the availability of appropriate professional knowledge, so that these works can only be carried out by appropriately equipped specialized auto repair shops.
