Below is the procedure for performing work on a diesel engine.

Removal



Removal


1. Loosen the clamp (90/1) on the air hose.

2. Remove the vacuum hose (100a) from the diaphragm mechanism of the vacuum advance of the hydraulic valve (100).

3. Disconnect the connecting rod (200) on the hydraulic valve.

4. Remove the two bolts (60/2) and move the exhaust gas recirculation valve (60) to the side.

5. Remove three bolts (105/1).

6. Pull the hydraulic valve housing (105a) out of the air cleaner cross pipe.

Installation



1. Check the O-ring of the circular profile for damage and replace it if necessary.

2. Slide the hydraulic valve body together with the O-rings into the air filter cross pipe. To do this, loosen the air filter cross pipe holder bolts and then tighten them again.

3. Screw on the hydraulic valve body.

4. Screw on the exhaust gas recirculation valve.

5. Attach the connecting rod to the hydraulic valve.

6. Attach the vacuum hose.

7. Attach the air hose and secure it with a clamp.
