Mercedes C-Class vehicles are equipped as standard with a low-maintenance battery. This battery no longer requires the addition of distilled water as before, but there are still some maintenance points to pay attention to.
The battery cover has a ventilation hole through which it can "breathe". To prevent electrolyte from spilling, do not tilt the battery more than 45°.
Standard chargers can be used for charging. The battery can also be charged using a fast charger.
The most favorable temperature for storing the battery is between 0 and 27°C. At these temperatures, the battery has the lowest self-discharge rate.
Protect the battery terminals and rub BOSCH terminal grease into them.
