Mercedes C-Class vehicles are equipped as standard with a low-maintenance battery. This battery does not need to be topped up with distilled water as before, but you should still pay attention to some maintenance items.
The battery cover has a vent through which it can "breathe". To prevent the electrolyte from spilling out, the battery must not be tilted more than 45°.
Standard chargers can be used for charging. The battery can also be charged with a quick charger.
The most favorable temperature for battery storage is between 0-27°C. At these temperatures, the battery has the lowest self-discharge rate.
Protect the battery poles and rub them with BOSCH brand pole grease.
