Removal
1. Grasp the plastic frame on the sides with your fingers and remove it upwards. If necessary, use a plastic wedge to press it out. The picture shows the automatic transmission shift lever; do the same with a manual transmission.
2. Open the cover (3): only with special equipment "folding armrest".
3. Using a plastic wedge, push the protective cover (2) out of the retainer. Insert the plastic wedge only into the gap of the switch support.
4. Disconnect the wire connector on the back side. Remove the protective cover.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
