Removal
1. The distributor is fixed longitudinally in the front part of the cylinder head.
2. Unfasten and remove the plastic cover.
3. Record the installation order of the high-tension wires, then disconnect the wires from the distributor cap if necessary.
4. Loosen and remove the screws, then remove the distributor cap.
5. Loosen the screws and remove the runner from the roller (see fig. 4.5).

6. Loosen the central bolt and remove the shaft from the end of the camshaft (see fig. 4.6).

7. Remove the plastic cover and remove the sealing ring (see fig. 4.7). Replace the seal if you find wear or damage.

Installation
8. Replace the plastic cover and sealing ring.
9. Press the roller onto the end of the camshaft, aligning the groove in the roller hub with the pin that protrudes from the camshaft. Install and tighten the center bolt to the specified torque.
10. Install the runner onto the roller, then insert the mounting screws and tighten them to the required torque.
11. Carefully, so as not to damage the central carbon electrode, install the distributor cap in place on top of the runner. Tighten the cover mounting screws.
12. Connect the spark plug wires to the distributor cap, making sure they are connected in the correct order - refer to section Technical data in Chapter 2B.
13. Note that since the ignition system is interrupted by the crankshaft position sensor, adjustment of the main ignition timing is not required.
