Removing
1. The distributor is fixed longitudinally in front of the cylinder head.
2. Unfasten and remove the plastic cover.
3. Write down the order of installation of high voltage wires, then, if necessary, disconnect the wires from the distributor cap.
4. Loosen and unscrew the screws, then remove the distributor cover.
5. Loosen the screws and remove the slider from the roller (see fig. 4.5).

Installation
8. Replace the plastic boot and O-ring.
9. Push the roller onto the end of the camshaft, aligning the groove in the roller hub with the pin that protrudes from the camshaft. Install and tighten the center bolt to the correct torque.
10. Install the slider on the roller, then insert the mounting screws and tighten them to the required torque.
11. Carefully, so as not to damage the central carbon electrode, install the distributor cover in place on top of the slider. Tighten the cover screws.
12. Connect the high voltage spark plug wires to the distributor cap, making sure they are connected in the correct order - refer to section Technical data in Chapter 2B.
13. Note that since the ignition system is interrupted by the crankshaft position sensor, adjustment of the main ignition timing is not required.
