Removing
1. The oil cooler is behind the left front fender panel.
2. Apply the parking brake, jack up the front of the vehicle and place it securely on jack stands (see paragraph "Jacking up the car and putting it on stands").
3. If necessary, remove the motor protection, in accordance with chapter 11.
4. Turn away screws and nuts and remove an overlay from the left arch of a wheel.
5. Place a suitable container under the arch to collect the dripping oil, then behind the front fender panel, unscrew the oil pipe unions on top of the oil cooler. Be prepared for oil leaks.
6. Remove the two screws and two nuts securing the frame supporting the oil cooler to the vehicle body.
7. Remove the frame together with the oil cooler from under the wheel arch.
8. Loosen the clamps and remove the oil cooler from the frame.
Installation
9. Before installation, it is advisable to clean the oil cooler fins using a soft brush or compressed air.
10. Installation is in the reverse order of removal, but when installing the device in the wheel arch, make sure that the protrusions on top of the oil cooler engage with the rubber mounts on the body.
