Disassembly



1. Remove retaining ring 44h from the outer support.

2. Remove disc block 44g and disc spring 44f from the outer support.

3. Place puller 072 on spring plate 44d and press it until retaining ring 44e is released.



4. Remove retaining ring 44e.

5. Remove spring plate 44d and piston 44c from the outer support.

Assembly



Assembly is carried out in the reverse order of disassembly. Check the gap between the retaining ring 44g and the outer disk 41a.

The clearance values in the K3 clutch are given in Table 5. Adjust the clearance using the 44g retaining ring. Retaining ring thickness: 2.0, 2.3, 2.6, 2.9, 3.2 and 3.5 mm.
