Most of your vehicle's electrical consumers are protected by fuses. Individual lighting components, with the exception of the brake lights, are protected by electronic components.

If too much current flows, the electrical circuit of the electronically protected components is electronically interrupted. After a short time, the electrical circuit is automatically closed again; if the fault occurs again, the electrical circuit is interrupted again.

The list and purpose of fuses are given in Specifications.

Use fuses with the specified amperage.

Do not repair or bridge blown fuses.

Determine the cause of the burnout.

Fuse overviews, spare fuses and fuse removal tools along with the on-board tool kit are located in an additional compartment under the boot floor.
