Removal
Caution! When removing the steering knuckle, the shock absorber must be installed.
1. Remove the front wheel hub 9.
2. Remove the rear protective shield 35.
3. Disconnect the connecting rod 28 of the anti-roll bar from the steering knuckle 5.
4. Remove the L6/1 speed sensor and brake lining wear indicator.
5. On models with ADS: remove the wheel acceleration sensor B24/1.
6. Disconnect steering rod 10 from steering knuckle.
7. Disconnect the lower ball joint 7 from the steering knuckle 5.
8. Disconnect steering knuckle 5 from upper arm 6.
9. Remove steering knuckle 5.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
