Removal
Removal and installation the engine
1 - Radiator of the cooling system; 2 - Fan; 3 - Compressor drive belt; 4 - Air filter; 5 - Support stand; 6 - Lambda probe; 7 - Exhaust system; 8 - Gearbox flange; 10 - Rear engine mount; 11 - Air conditioning compressor; 12 - Front engine mount; 13, 14 - Oil pipelines
1. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
2. Drain the coolant.
3. Disconnect the left hood release cable.

4. Disconnect the heater lines at the rear of the intake manifold and cylinder block.
5. Remove the fan clutch together with the fan (2).
6. On models with air conditioning, remove the drive belt (3).
7. Disconnect the fuel lines and engine wiring.
8. Disconnect the vacuum tubes.
9. Disconnect the throttle control cable
10. Disconnect the vacuum pipe from the brake booster.
11. Drain the fluid from the power steering pump reservoir.
12. Disconnect the pipes from the power steering pump.
13. On models with an air pump, disconnect the wiring connector from the pump.
14. Unscrew the oil pipes (13) and (14) from the oil radiator.
15. Remove the compressor (11) together with the attached pipelines.
16. Disconnect the weeder connector from the lambda probe (6).
17. Remove the exhaust system (7) as an assembly.
18. Disconnect the propeller shaft from the gearbox flange (8).
19. Disconnect the ground wire from the gearbox.
20. Remove the rear engine mount (10).
21. Disconnect the gear shift lever.
22. Disconnect the wiring connectors from the gearbox.
23. Unscrew the engine mounting bolts (12) from the front.
24. Attach the lugs to the engine.
25. Position the engine at an angle and remove it.
Installation
Adjust the shift cable. Check the idle speed. Check and fill the oil and coolant. Start the engine and check for leaks.
