Removal and installation glow plugs (Mercedes-Benz C-Class W203)

Removal



1. Turn off the ignition.

2. Remove the top engine covers, refer to Section Removal and installation the top engine cover.

3. Disconnect the glow plug connectors using, for example, the special clamp HAZET 4760-5.

4. Remove the glow plugs, for example using the HAZET 4760-1 tool.

5. Clean the spark plug well with a Ø10 and 6 mm perlon spark plug brush.

Installation



1. Screw in the glow plugs and tighten them to a torque of 12 Nm.

2. Connect the glow plug connectors.

3. Reinstall the engine top covers, refer to Section Removal and installation the top engine cover.
