2. With the help of an assistant or by driving the car in reverse against a wall, check the brake lights. When you press the brake pedal, only the brake lights should come on. Turn on all possible lighting devices located in the rear headlights (reversing lights, position lights, etc.), then depress the brake pedal again. If, when turning on the brake lights, you find a malfunction in any of the other included signals, the reason for this may be unreliable contact with «weight» or bad contact in the block headlight.
3. Now check the performance of the optics. Turn on low beam, then high beam.
4. If burned out lamps are found, replace them following the recommendations given in Chapter Body.
5. Check the operation of all interior lighting devices, including the illumination of the glove box and luggage compartment. Switch on the ignition and check that all control lamps are lit. In Chapter Manual describes in detail which lamps should light up when the ignition is turned on. Start the engine. The control lamps should go out.
